I was following NS previously, 2 months ago when they opened demand occupation catogory, they hit some technical problems then closed, after that I was visiting their website on regular basis but didn't find them open, from 2 3 days I was out of touch and they opened, took applications and closed. :(
Oh i see, last time when they reopened i also struggled to submit my application but due to heavy server traffic was not able to submit my application. Today ws fortunate to submit but i m scared due to rush, i may not have left any important information.

Do not worry buddy as they will reopen again soon. Hope you will be able to submit you application.

Very few people live at the same address all their lives ;) Don't worry, Ontario only cares about your current address. Good luck.
Thanks, mate. Got another question: is joint account in the name of principal applicant and spouse is acceptable for OINP application? Do I need to get any declaration from my spouse/bank that I have full access to the fund?

thank you.
Hi again, I recreated my profile, you know deleted the old and created a new one, however since I had already created a job bank account, how can I now link the two? Is there a way to do that? Would appreciate help.

Though a joint account with your spouse is acceptable as proof of funds, it's better to get a letter from your bank saying that you have full access to the money.

Some people also include a notarised letter from their spouse saying that they are consenting for the money to be shown as proof of funds.

Good luck.

Hi Wondering Mind,
Just checking is there any place where OINP for Federal immigration has stated that they dont accept joint account statements, other than spouse? I am asking because I have seen individuals (singles) have joint account with mother or father and sending authority letter from the joint holder stating that the applicant has full access to funds.

I think it's best to get a new letter from your employer exactly as per Ontario's requirements.

Look at the email Ontario sent you and follow their directions about how this new letter should be.

Best of luck.
Thanks,

Actually, my hiring date was 28th March, 2016. And, as per OINP rule, the job offer letter should not be more than 6 years old. This means do I need to get the new Job Offer Letter from my company, as my previous one is more than 6 years old.

For step 1, to make an appeal, do we need the letter from CIC stating that PCC is required for immigration purpose. Is it enough if we attach the nomination letter from Ontario?
They also need scanned copies of biometrics i.e. fingerprints. From where can we get this? Is there any specific place from where we need to get this?
Altogether how much time does it take to get PCC
Need to attach ita with the appeal. Fingerprinting needs to be done at authorised agency and sent back to SPF. Not sure of the end to end time it takes as I am still in the midst of it.

Yes you first collect all the documents and then create the account bcoz once you create the account you have to submit all the documents within 14 days. Proof of funds has to be the latest bank statement and a separate letter from bank stating that you have required funds as per OINP requirement. Also ask bank to mention your account number, name address and currency in the letter. If you are submitting mutual funds or FD statements please backup with a letter from the financial institution.
One question, why I should attach a separate letter from bank if I got the last 6 bank statements? I'm asking cuz I checked the Ontario Application Guide and they ask for the last 6 bank statements only. Please, can you explain ?

PD. My banks statements include name, address, account number, etc.

In my case, I showed the funds in my name and in my wife's name (both not joint accounts). My wife will be accompanying me. I just submitted a letter in a plain A4 paper stating I have full access to her accounts in which we both signed and stick our photographs. Ontario has accepted it and I got the nomination.Apart from 6 months statement, I also got the latest outstanding balance statement of the accounts.

Guys Need Help!!!

I have created a new EE profile. How can I apply to OINP now? My NOC is 2174
What is your CRS score? Ontario sends you "Notice of Interest" or NOI after which only you can apply. You just have to wait for the NOI to come. Majority of NOI are sent for CRS score > 400
