Send a letter of explanation via cse asap and after try making a phonecall for cic to check of what you sent is uploaded, but anyways i believe that loe is optional if you need to further explain something so no need to worry, maybe other members can comment as well
Thank you, I raised a CSE as soon as I got AOR and attached the LOE. Hopefully they will attach it to the file

I'm interested to know which program did your friend apply under??? Because I applied under CEC program (Inland) and for Passports it EXPLICITLY stated that scan any pages with visas/stamps etc, so, clearly you don't have to scan every single page, for CEC at least

Honestly, it beats me as well. He is not an inland application. That is the information which was passed over to me which I thought I would like to share with all.

Hello,

Please do not scan empty pages on your passport. You will be setting yourself back with the Case Officer.

Best,
SR

Hi SR,

Apparently, my agent here in Singapore said the same thing to me as well, i.e. that all copies (including blank pages) are required to be printed. I initially gave her my current passport with the copied pages, and she said that first to last page is needed. Are you able to clarify this part please so that I can bring this back to her?

A ---------- PCC from USA (I am a US resident currently ) is valid for :

1) 6 months from the date of issue of PCC
2) 6 months from the date when I submit my profile EE
3) 6 months from when I receive ITA
4) 6 months old when I submit my documents

Please advise ?

B --------- For PCC from India, it should be only after the last date when you left from India. Lets suppose if I leave India on 18 AUG 2017, PCC should be issued on 18 AUG 2017 or later dates (it can be on same date as well). Please confirm.

C ----- I can visit any country any time after submitting my documents after ITA on my EE. And, I would not need to provide any PCC then for that time period ?

Hi,

1. PCC is generally valid for 1 year from the point of issuance.
2. If 18th Aug is the date of you leaving India, your PCC should be from 18th Aug or later.
3. Yes, you can still visit any country after submitting your documents after ITA. Between the time of ITA and final submission of documents, try not to travel within the 90 days, else you will have to inform them on your travel history within these 90 days too.

Hope this helps.

Guys, I submitted the application with my Indian PCC in b&w.. The PCC had a stamp & signature in color though the text and emblem is in black.. I'm planning to raise a CSE and send them the copy in color.. Any suggestions if someone had this issue and got rejected earlier..

Hi, you can refer to the below link.

REFUSED DUE TO BLACK & WHITE PCC/Cased was cancel due to not providing Original Iranian PCC. I just provide certified true copy due to error.

In order to be applicable for a police certificate you need to be in that country for a period of six months consecutively.

In my case I have been visiting x country for a year however not continuously I.e did not live straight for six months.

Can some one advice if police certificate is required although I do not have residency visa. I travelled on business work visa valid for one time travel

Dear all: I just received my PCC. have lived on multiple addresses since I turned 18, all in one city, (Peshawar, Pakistan). My PCC runs like this:

"There is nothing adverse/Criminal record against him/her on the record of local police station to date. Further verification on his permanent address maybe asked from home district."

There is no mention of the year from which I am in peshawar, mentioning only "Till date". Is that fine? Or should I ask them to put "since date of turning 18 till present date"

Also, do I need to get the PCC from district of permanent address also, even if not lived there since 18?

Please help.
advisable to get one one, as they wrote "Further verification on his permanent address maybe asked from home district."

Hello, what do you think, will this be problem:
We submitted our application at the of april. All documents I think was ok, but first we submitted pcc like this:
The translation is in colour, but the translator did not attached to translation colour copy of original pcc. So we submitted pcc where translation is in colour, but original b&w.
We realized this next day after submission and raised CSE, where we added original pcc in colour with letter explaining case above. At least we did all we can and raised cse within 24 hours of original application.
Problem or not?
