I think it is rather than a considerate officer, probably the guy had higher points on account of any of the other 5 factors....or he got 'spirited' officer checking his file on Monday morning...
because it amounts to lying if one says he has 2 years of experience,while the question specifically asks years of experience,in the FSW questionnaire,whereas he has couple of weeks less than two years....
CIC section on disqualification 11.2 exempt only the points reduced on account of birthday after ITA & before eAPR...if they are so particular to note that few days on age,after securing ITA can be allowed,it implies on other counts such relaxation cannot be considered...

and the guy who came back asking 'misinformation source' seems confused which is clear from his remark that he got extra points even though he had only 1 yr 11 months...we all know 1 year and 2yrs 11 months carry same points for CRS (not sure about CEC..there I think max @1 yr itself)..
anyway happy hoping today...& by the way our number of pages is in the vicinity of the potential cut off...

Fully agree with what you said above. Misrepresentation is so not worth. I created my profile last year even though i was 7 months sort of being eligible. Then a sensible guy here in the forum warned me not to do so. Hence i withdrew my profile. May 9 i completed my 1 year work experience, i didn't create my profile in May 1st, i waited until May 10 to do it. I have waited far too many years, couple of days can't harm. So it is better to look for any other ways to raise the score than to take that risk. Just 4 months of French study would be enough to get couple of points in FSW.

@KingKurly, I tried creating profile in POF by using a proxy website that emulates Canada as my location. I was successful, and found a lot of profiles (girls) in Prince Edward Island. However, later I tried logging in without proxy, and realised that my profile had been deactivated and deleted .

What! is that true? lol. I don't know what is wrong here in our country? But i don't know who is making this restriction, whether it is our government or it is the POF itself. I cannot change my location either, its still Ireland in POF. The automatic search only displays pretty Irish girls For ladies in Canada, lemme get there to your service lol

Ouch.. POF? Is this another kind of "proof of fund" in preparation for the cold nights in Canada?

I really love this thread. We can talk about anything under the sun. Last night I saw a lot talking about alcoholic drinks and now someone is talking about another kind of "booze".

But before anything else, a draw has to happen today! Pessimists, learn to respect your folks who have been waiting for a looong time!

In fact this must be the first RoH thread where you have the diversity in terms talks and topics. Before it used to be mostly about draws, but we need something else to talk about other than draws too, specially during 1 month break rite! I see new members are turning into regulars here and contributing their experiences, likes and much more. Versatile members are making this thread ever more versatile. It is our lil Canada itself lol.

Ok i respect that you know stuff, i will not underestimate anyone. Who knows maybe you have married a daughter or son of any CIC official hahahaha. Fellas, a few years before Skype and Whatsapp, we used to have IRC (Internet Relay Chat). I know, it still exists but has become less popular.
One good feature of IRC was you had the option of "booting" someone out of the chat room (Booting as in "kicking the person hell out with army boots" .) . I miss it so much.

You don't need to do anything for that. If they need it they will send you an email and tell you how to authorise them. No need to worry.
