Hello experts, I need serious and experienced review here.
I did applied for my study visa from Lahore,Pakistan on 23rd-MARCH-2017 via paper based submission (later linked it online). I've applied for Manitoba state. At the time of applying the Processing Time was showing 6-7weeks. My Uni.(I.C.M College Pathway TO University of MANITOBA) Intake was on 4th-MAY-2017. The biometrics were taken right at the submission point so, after 23rd march till today I have not received any single update/message from embassy. Not even Medical Call yet, that's the worrying part. My semester has been deferred to next September intake by University. A week ago I messaged to 'case specific enquiry' yet no response from there too, I know they take time but they do respond.
I don't know what to do now or how much more to wait... Please share your kind thoughts on my case and if anyone experienced same can comment too.
Tell me whether they will announce any good news or could be opposite? WORRIED!
Feel free to ask anything.
Thanks

Similar story for all Pakistani applicants. I haven't heard of a single one who applied in or after March and has received their visa.

Have you heard of anyone who was refused? Because at this point in time it is essential for us to know whether they are working on our applications. If they are rejecting pakistani applicants then that means that they are processing our applications and as we are waiting since 8 weeks this might imply that our chances are high.

Yep, heard of like four rejections. All came within 3-4 weeks of application.

But I've also talked to three people who've been waiting since 7-9 months.
9 months? Too much. Processing time for Pakistan is 8 weeks and if applicant is refused they tell him in first 3-4 weeks if not than they will give you medical call on 5th or 6th week. Students who get medical call are 90% accepted. Giving improper and incomplete documents can cause delay in application.

Tell me what date you applied? How did you get your medical call? because It is surprising that at least one of us got the medicals done (which is success clue). What is "Up Front"? I haven't received any :(

Yes getting medicals is positive clue 90% ! No you can't say that my application was improper or incomplete because I've carefully made my application considering every minor detail, with the help of agent. My case is proper and complete.

You can optionally get the medical done before applying. You then attach the medical sheet with your application. It's supposed to speed up the process a little but didn't seem to in my case.

I have been waiting since 31march.. applied online did my biometrics and since then no updates or any kind of activity on my application. They haven't asked me for medical as well. So I have been waiting since (11 weeks and 6 days) to be exact. Processing in Abu dhabi is 6-7 weeks ..

Hey I got my medical request and I submitted It as well. But then I missed my May session so they asked for a new letter of acceptance! Any idea what's going on? Like how long do they take to reject after medical?
