I think It was resiculous my application was return for missing "Valid passport" even those the check list said...

Note: Although you do not need to have a valid passport or travel document when you submit your application, you must have a valid travel
document or passport to be able to travel to Canada and to be admitted for permanent residence.

Ohh so sorry to hear that ..i send mine on 27 april waited so long on 15 june it got returned asking for original marriage certificate i already send them original nikah nama in both languages but the marriage certificate i send them photocopy n after one n half month they return my application for it i have been so depressed just
Told my husband to send the original to me so i can mail it to them

Sorry to hear that.. this is certainly a stressfull process..

I sent original everything except passport. I read somewhere they will send it all back once completed if not all those documents can be replaced.

but no to stress im confiddnt it will all work out even if it takes a little longer tham others.

I need a hobby to distract me from this stressful process

Me too all day i have been so stressed bcx of it coming back n they taking so long to send it back so when did u send it back again ?n received aor n everything?

They sent it back May 12 I received it in mail May 18 and sent it right back the same day n it was received May 19 got AOR email June 15...

its so fustrating I have to mail by purolator and I work in the same building. The 1st time I sent application I had to go the the 2nd building across the street and the guy looked at me and said you really paying to mail this next door and I told him I work in the same building and took it down to their office and the guy told me he cant accept package from me I have to go and mail it in!

Hey, Trying to get some insights about how long is it between sending applications and receiving notice to get medicals exam? Trying to plan my husband to visit me but at same time I have no clues if they can say 2 weeks after 'get your medical exam' and I think they only give 30 days to do it...Thanks!

me too... I'm expecting that they will still process the app and request for it later after they reviewed our app. But they didn't. Luckily after they returned our app. We already have my new passport due to change in status.

Hello Mrs Stylz. I have same case too. Could you please tell me how did u manage to get special inquiry done for ur missing file. Every time i am calling CIC they say , they dont see my file in their system

Abhi did u put original birth certificate as per country specific requirements? And was it registered same as birth date? Or u too sent voter id and school certificate?

Hello i am in the same timeline and waiting for SA approval. Application recieved May 9, AOR on june 6 ( our officer is probably on vacation, let's give that poor fellow one more week) LOL

I think thos schd A and PCC upload is ridiculous. It should just be included in application package. its a waste of tome for agent to send correspondance to request it ans for applicants to struggle to upload ot just causing delays.

I felt others fustration and sent mine in with application which eliminates that stress since its already shows uploaded by the time I linked my account.

yes i agree, but i think they do it purposely as these uploads are visible to local visa office as well and only these are studied by them and not the entire file thus they verify whatever historic info is given about applicant as relationship is cross checked by Mississauga office itself. At this stage the sch A is actually checked by local country embassy office and once they open your uploaded sch A form, you get a message that we have started processing your case which is AOR2. Also when we upload every info goes in their software and autosave and no manual entry is further reqd.
And that is y they ask 2 things pcc and sch A which are most important when to check a person for granting pr.
medical are also essential and thus they are also visible by local office and further more the medical clinic just upload the test result as A or B, a means passed, b means failed, and system automatically catches it as passed, nobody from their office does manual pass message.

I put photocopy of the birth certificate and notarised english transalation of it.

CIC recieved my application on May 23rd too i am waiting for AOR letter too. On thursday applicants that submitted on May 19 were getting the letter. It also depends on the agents too. So we should expect the letter next week or the week after. We will get it soon just little more patient will do it.

Barcode dosent come anymore.

I see what you are saying. I didn't even notice that. I validate it and it says "Validation successful" but the office part still says "no". I didn't even see that when I sent it off. Does it even matter when it doesn't output a barcode? Perhaps the validation is just so that you can confirm that you've filled out all parts of the form or not.

Kari, i have already submitted and i am sure it will be cleared, as psk doesn't mention anything about address they simply write 3 lines para that this person with this passport has no adverse record that maked him inadmissible to canada, what else they need, passport office of india who represent all india gave this in writing.

Actually last month i was same dilemma as you are now, thus did lot of research and spoke to lot of people and finally came out with this solution, rest is your decision.

Thanks a lot for your input Sumit, still haven't received CIC's request for PCC. But whenever they ask for it, will provide this PSK PCC only.
