Both first and second parts have 8 digits for me.
Mine has 8 digits in both sets. If the system accepts more than 7 digits, why not enter all the 8 digits after the hyphen?

Hello
May I have one question. My profile satisfied all criteria of Ontario French stream. After 4 months waiting, I still do not receive any notification. I already deleted the old EE and created the new one. But still no answer. Do you have any advice for my case?
Tks a lot.
Regards

Have you tried putting french as primary language? Did you tick Ontario where it asks for provinces you are interested in?

It happened to me. All education data was not visible but i didn't have to fill it in again as I WAS SURE that I had entered it. Remember that it is not possible to submit when one required document is missing. I was later asked to allow access to WES report.
By the way do you mean you haven't received nomination yet? OINP status: Decision in progress?

Thanks for your tip. Frankly, I do not know because the profile was created by Canada Visa. I will ask them or create another profile by myself. It is said that the Ontario officer will select the profile before sending the invitation. Do you know what are their other criteria (except for French and Ontario preference )? Can age be a problem?

Hi Cam,

Rover1 has a point. However, I would like to ask you a question. In which test did you perform better, IELTS(English test) or TEF(French Test)? The IRCC website asks candidates to indicate the language where the performed better as their first language. This is so that they earn more points. If you performed better in TEF, then simply follow Rover1's advice. Otherwise, use the Comprehensive Ranking System to see the number of points you get by indicating French as your first language even though you performed better in English. If the difference is not that much (compared to that obtained when you specify English as your first language), may be you can consider making French your first language. I guess your goal is to get nomination from Ontario. If you do get that nomination, then the few points you may have lost by indicating French as your first language will be compensated by the additional 600 points obtained from nomination. In fact, this is what I would have done if I were you. May be other guys in the forum have a different point of view.

As far as I am concerned, I got nomination from Ontario for the French-Speaking Skill Worker Stream on the 2nd June 2017.
This is how I proceeded:
1. I submitted my Express Entry profile on the 19th January 2017 (French was my first language because I performed better in the TEF exam).
2. I got my Provincial/Territorial Interest Letter from Ontario in MyCIC account on the 27th January 2017.
3. I applied on the Ontario website (https://www.one-key.gov.on.ca) on the 20th February 2017.
4. My application remained in the Submitted status for about a month, then went to the Under Assessment status.
5. On the 21st May 2017, I got an email requesting pay stubs from my current employer, and an Intent to reside letter.
6. I provided the requested information on the 1st June 2017.
7. In the evening, on the same 1st June 2017, my application went in the status Decision In Progress.
8. On the 2nd June 2017, my application went in the status Approved. I got an email from IRCC notifying a new message. The new message was prompting me to accept or reject the nomination from Ontario. You can imagine that I accepted without even thinking :) . lol.
9. The next day, my points in my Express Entry profile were incremented by 600.

From the above, we can see that it took me 3 months and 13 days to get nomination from Ontario.

Hopefully, you may follow the same path. I wish you the very best.

I am not sure if Ontario selects applicants with English as primary language for the French stream. Up to now I have not heard of any such cases. When filling my express entry, I was tempted to use English as primary language as it would have given me way more points than using French. However even with English as primary language, I would not have reached the cut-off point at that time.
So I chose the French stream. Invitation from Ontario was received within days but application remained in "submitted" status for nearly four months. Then things moved very fast and within two weeks I was requested additional details, submitted them and application was approved.

If you need English to meet the minimum entry requirements for Express Entry, then do so. Once you have completed your express entry profile, try switching primary language to French for a few days to see if Ontario invites you to apply.

Good luck.

I have a feeling OINP validates applications as and when they are received but approval is done in batch a couple of days before a CIC draw. I am hoping you will get nomination early next week and CIC draw will be held by end of the week.

Best wishes.
