Just to clarify, in case my post was misinterpreted:
If someone asks for directions, you don't respond by telling her/him that he/she can use Google Maps on her/his phone.
It is common to see some forum members respond to questions with "google it".
Every time I tried to respond with helpful answers, I learnt a lot more about it. Some questions require research to answer, which again supplements your own information in the process of assisting someone else. It's a win-win situation!!
I did not misunderstand you :) I just pointed out that you're kinder and more understanding than I am :)

BTW, I often offer to show people how to use Google Maps on their phone when they ask me for directions ;)

Once in a while, I get these funny feelings, just wish to share one.
People in this forum might end up supporting "global warming" and "climate change", so that the winters in Canada are less severe.

I get the joke, but I am afraid you are right. There's logic to moving north :)

I never thought about hiring a consultant or a lawyer. I'm a weirdo that way - I hate not being in charge of my own paperwork ;) And so I was forced to do all my own research which was a good thing in a way because when I joined this forum I had some understanding of the EE process.

However, I learned a lot more on this forum through discussions and debate than I had through my own reading and understanding of the EE process on the IRCC website and elsewhere. The people here are amazing and so patient with each other. Thank you everyone!
I think you are an absolute commander to take control of your destiny like that. Paperwork is very delicate. I am working as an education consultant myself for abroad study and i know how a single mistake can make or break. So i can say you have the required attitude rite from the start. I wouldn't have thought of hiring a consultant myself. What happened is, in 2014 i applied twice. At first, returned for incompleteness and second time, quota filled. So at that time i felt if only i had hired a consultant. As my brother-in-law was already in Canada and being a university lecturer, he did most of the research for me. I was just a nonpaying client lol. In 2015 even my brother-in-law suggested me to take the service of David Cohen. But trust me man, the guy i talked to on the phone, he tried to force me to pay their first installment like there is no tomorrow. It didn't feel rite! And boy i am so happy i didn't pay at that time.

I regularly followed news on canadavisa.com and cic website. But it was far from adequate which came to realized once i joined the forum and began reading everyday. Have to admit and agree with you and admire the support here. Its immaculate.

That's exactly my point of view.
I've learned a lot in trying to find answers for my fellow forum members.

Once we get our ITA who all are in with me to start a Immigration Consultancy? I bet we have far more knowledge than many in business now
I'm all in with that. In fact i have decided. If i fail to get ITA at least by the end of this year, i'm starting my own immigration consultancy in the city. There's a huge market gap for it cos as soon as the high school is over every single graduates wants to fly and that is only possible with study visa. For Canada immigration, few ol immi consultancy, they still keep telling clients it can take upto 4 years and need 67 out of 100. They have no idea of either express entry or the term CRS. Straight from the village to the consultancy chair lmao
