HI Guyzzz,
Is it necessary to have a permanent word in the employment letter, as in my letter it is written ' full time active employee' and no. of hours per week as well as all benefits are mentioned but permanent is missing. I got ITA under CEC and i m working under same employer from last 1 and half year and it is mentioned in the letter. So my worry is that it is possible to get a rejection just because my letter is missing permanent word?..........

Does it mention that the job position is for at least 1 year? If it is there, you are good.
yes it is mentioned that I am working in the company since Jan 2016 and currently active full time employee with 40 hrs per week with all benefits.

But does it say that the job is valid for minimum next 1 continuous year? That is more important.

As per CIC : "job offers now must be for at least one year"

No it is not particularly mentioned. It is only mentioned that i am a full time active employee.

HI Guyzzz,

No. There is absolutely no requirement that the job be permanent, therefore no requirement stating that it is.

See if you can get it mentioned from your company. That will remove all the doubts from your mind else you will always be worried thinking "if that one word could become a cause of rejection".

I don't really understand. You ve' been working for a year and a half and it says you're a full time employee... Bro I think you are good to go. There are people that have temporary employment and have worked just one year and have applied using the CEC stream. Or am I not just understanding..

I assumed employment letter to be a job offer letter. All my inputs were specific to that.

No, two completely different things. Letter of employment = reference letter for PAST work experience. Required for all work experience claimed in the profile related to qualifying employment and/or CRS points.

Job offer letter is only needed by those claiming to have a "valid job offer" for extra points. That letter refers to future employment of at least one year.
