'' The Conservative Senates are blocking him in the Senate.

Interesting! who is "him" and "it" in this email? I think "it" is Bill C6. But who's "him"?

Looks like the bill C-6 will end up dealing in September if this bill is not dealt in HoC within the next few days, Senators would love an early summer break

Guys,

Again - Bug Minister A Hussen and B Chagger.......don't acceept inaction. Email again and again.

We got here because Senate felt pressure of all emails, petition and social media...otherwise they would love to sit on it for a year more. They got no deadlines.

I have posted the reply e-mails that I received. Chagger's assistant replied back in a few minutes obviously with a template reply without even reading my e-mail. The MP's assistant was unaware of the bill progress.

There must be another way to let them feel our disappointment and losing faith in them

Bill C-6 is not a priority for the government. It will become a priority once you bug them with emails and tweets. This is how we did with Senators. Trust me, this is the best way. Once the bill returns back to the senate, it will need at least 3-4 sittings to pass the bill.

First of all, I am not against Liberals, I would vote for them in the next election, if I can get my Canadian citizenship by then! So do not get me wrong. I am just trying to be fair in this discussion. You seem to be very knowledgeable about this parliamentary process though. So maybe you can provide more answers to the following:

This is not how a single parliament in any western democracy works. Parliaments don't work by "First in, first out".

So on what basis do you think they decided to consider Senate amendments for C-4 and C-7 on May 5 and 12 before C-6? Just because they were more important than C-6 or simply because they arrived before?!

Yes and that didn't happen because the Conservatives in the Senate started delaying it. So we agree on that.

My point was they expected the Conservative Senate to pass the bill within two weeks while in the parliament where they have the complete majority they could not even discuss the same bill which is almost done, within the same time (two weeks!).

So can you please tell me why you want the bill to pass today and not next week? It will make no difference.

I will make a difference if the bill does not become law before the summer break, then even days matter!

When the courts gave that order to implement a revocation process for those stripped of citizenship, didn't it stipulate that it should be implemented by two months? So unless th govt appeals the decision, the two months is in July. So doesn't is make sense to pass the bill before that? Somebody please give an idea

A month really isn't that long when you consider that the senate sits only 3 days a week and there is a huge backlog of other, more pressing bills in parliament.
