Same only requested 2 photos, passport and $490 .You should check mycic account there are requests there for passport copy and.digital photos with a due date attached

Thanks to adt83, I was directed to the location in gckey account. It was under view submitted application. Yes, we got digital photo and copy of passport request to be uploaded in online account.

I'm thinking have hubby go to a photo lab/shop and have them take a digital photo and save it on a USB or SD card or as an email attachment and then upload that. The same would be done for passport.

Well thought you knew that they would be under view submitted application since that's where all requests are sent!

Sounds good

No all requests aren't send there.

Once you click on check status and messages, they usually have the requests under correspondence. View submitted application is where you upload the requested documents and it also shows what you've uploaded already. Didn't think to check there because that's for previously uploaded documents and documents to be uploaded. Was looking for the letter for the requested documents and instructions under correspondence. Seriously wouldn't have thought to look under view submitted application until we're ready to do the upload. So many thanks again adt83 :)

Anyways oh well at least you figured it out not going to keep going on and on with this

I am trying to pay the $550.00 for the application fee. Can this be done at the bank or do I have to pay online? I am not understanding how I can pay with my bank card online.

Good afternoon everyone. I know a lot of you are new but I have a question. When my husband arrives in Canada we are going to sponsor his children to come. Would I be the sponsor on the application and my husband the co-signer or would it be vice versa? Thanks for any help.

Glad you found it! Not sure why CIC doesn't inform off of this online requests in the interview letter.

Hmmm....

There are instructions online here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5289ETOC.asp#eligibility

It does say that there are rules if the sponsor previously sponsored a spouse or common-law (they cannot sponsor another for at least 3 years), and same for the PR, if they were sponsored by a spouse or common-law they cannot sponsor another spouse or common-law within 5 years... I can't see anything specific to dependents though...

However, if they're biologically your husbands, I would think he would need to be the sponsor and you the co-sponsor.

I assume you included them as non-accompanying dependents on your husbands application? I've heard that even then, they will still issue a temporary PR for the dependents when your husband is issued his. If that's the case, my husband and I are considering possibly landing his daughter within the alloted time frame. This way if she wants to visit, we won't have to apply for temporary visas, and if/when she wants to come live with us when she's older, we won't have to go through the time, money and inconvenience of another sponsorship application. Maybe another option to consider?
