Thanks for the reply Rob, so are you suggesting having 4 rows with family size 6 for question 17 of the form IMM5768 ? Like the following
From - To/ Employee Name/ Address/ Gross Income/ Family size
2017/01/01-Present ................................................................... 6
2016/01/01-2017/01/01 ................................................................... 6
2015/01/01-2016/01/01 ................................................................... 6
2014/01/01-2015/01/01 ................................................................... 6

That is how I would do it. However even if you put the actual lower family size in those previous tax year rows, as long as the income in each year is at least the amount for maximum family size as at date of application, you should be fine.

Few more questions:
  • Additional Dependent Declaration Form (IMM0008DEPENU) - when should one fill this?
  • My parents don't have a birth certificate. They live in New Delhi. As a replacement they are showing 10th/high school certificate which has DOB. and an affidavit from notary stating that the DOB written in the certificate is genuine. Do they need to produce any other proof along with this?
Pls suggest/advice
Thanks

Hi guys, I am filling out my mom's IMM5669 form. My mom didn't go to secondary school so I don't have anything to write on the full details of secondary/post secondary under Education History. I am trying to remove the row by clicking the remove row button but it doesn't work. Now, problem is I could not validate the form due to empty fields on those part. Can I just leave this form not validated? Or is there a way to get rid of the row?I hope u can help me with this, thanks!

How about writing 'not applicable' ?

I have the answer for the first part: if the main applicant has more than 5 dependants then you would fill IMM 0008dep form for the extra dependants. IMM0008 can have up to 5 dependents.

Hi all,

1-Can we fill out the forms with caps lock??

2- In the Additional family information ( 5406)

We have to complete for my father and my mom separate, but the question is for my mom who is applicant?? I have to leave it blank ?? Or N/A?? And i need to attached one more page because of section C should I write anything on top?? Or just staple and I don't need to fill out other sections??

Thanks,
I believe each person being sponsored should have seprated additional family information form and for your mom form she is the applicant, then she gives information about her children and sisters and brothers and so on ....

Hey, why do they need their birth certificate ? is it asked in the document checklist ?

I don't think that your parents require birth certificate and I also didn't find any reference in the document checklist. You only need your parents birth certificate if you are sponsoring your grand parents.

I have another question, I'm sponsoring my parents and they do not have marriage certificate. Can an affidavit from notary/lawyer work in this case?

I would also like to know what all documents are to be submitted for the parents sponsorship application? I have made a list below.
- Sponsor's PR Card/Citizenship Certificate
- Sponsor's Birth Cerificate
- Dad's Passport Copy of each page
- Mom's Passport Copy of each page
- Parents Marriage Certificate
- Dad's Photo
- Mom's Photo

Exactly, required only when sponsoring application for grandparents.
Well, my parents also didn't had the marriage certificate so i asked them to get one now and its under process. Don't want to take chances on this.
For documents it should be like:

- Sponsor's PR Card/Citizenship Certificate
- If cosigner applicable then PR Card of him/her
- If cosigner then your marriage certificate as well
- Sponsor's Birth Certificate as proof of principal applicant relationship to sponsor (for this Im also attaching copy pf sponsor's passport showing parents name on last page)
- Dad's Passport Copy of each page
- Mom's Passport Copy of each page
- Parents Marriage Certificate
- Dad's Photo or Mom's photo (photo required only from principal applicant for now, they will request photo for dependant accompanying person later in the process)

I am also thinking to get all copies attested/notarized, it doesn't say anywhere it should be, but just trying to eliminate any false impression.
Hope this helps, good luck.!!
