Hello, is anyone in the situation as I am or has been please give me your input?
I am currently sponsoring my spouse as "INLAND"
He came to Canada last year March and we got married on March 26, 2016.

We sent the sponsorship application on July 1, 2016
We have have at least gotten request more than 5 to 6 times to fix form 5669 and requesting
"for additional information which we have sent it on time always. It's my first time sponsoring someone so i have a couple of mistakes on the application so immigration kept sending me back some forms to fix them due to missing information but everything went well and we sent back just the forms they requested."

My husband got his health exam report done on Feb 3, 2017 due to a request from immigration.
We do know that immigration received them.

But...I still have not received the first stage of approval ???? I know the first stage is when immigration sents the sponsor a letter of eligibility for sponsoring...I have not received anything and it will be 12 months already in July 1, 2017. We have not hear from immigration at all lately ....I am very worry ...

That's quite normal as a timeline. I know the feeling, we would all like to get news from time to time to let us know that they haven't forgot us... but most applications get currently processed in about 13-14 months. So you might expect to get news in August. Most people do not get any news, and then within few hours they get SA and AIP with DM following shortly after.

But Barakotos, we are part of the backlog. 2016 applicants will land in about 13-14 months. Not many of us from 2015 are remaining. It's unfortunate for us, but I'm happy to see that the process is getting much faster nowadays. I'm sure your turn is coming soon; I really hope you come on this blog very soon telling us you got your DM.

So strange - today I got a email asking me to resend my photographs for the PR. When
I took the photographs and submitted them as per the specification during my landing interview at Etobicoke more than a month ago.

I think the shortened the processing time for 2016 to 12 months instead of 26

It takes what it takes, I really don't care as long as I will hear good news at the end

I am quite worried from the landing interview

It's strange, because the landing officer should check the photos, and if s/he found out it doesn't meet the specs, s/he should tell you

Are you able to go to any Walmart and take new photos?! it's 15 min job

Too bad. If you have a Henry's lose to where you reside, take the photographs there. They do a great job and have excellent customer service.
