Hi,
I have created my profile in EE and I can't say when I will receive ITA so I think I should start preparing for my funds. I am principal applicant and my husband is dependent so do I have e to show funds in my account or funds in his account is Okay?

Also, how much old fund I need to show?
Hi,

1) Funds can be in either account or in both accounts. If you decide to use funds in your spouses account he will need to sign a notarized affidavit giving full consent to the use of his funds for immigration purposes.
2) The idea is to minimize the difference between the current balance and average 6 months balance stated on your bank letter. So ideally you want to keep funds for 6 months so that there is no difference at all. If you cant you will need to explain the source of your funds.

I hope this helps.

Regards

Is there any possibility that they might ask for income tax return/form 16 if I have submitted reference letter mentioning annual salary, salary certificate as well as Pay stubs?

Dear Seniors,
Greetings

I am going to create my EE profile on Wednesday, finally after a long wait. I am bit confused in relation to couple of things. If someone can clear my confusion, i would be so thankful.

In relation to total number of academic years, I have (10 years schooling + 2 years high school + 3 years of Bachelor + MSc 1.5 years + MBA 1.5 years) It did take me 2 years to complete my MSc and MBA each, so it was 4 years all though it was supposed to be 3 years for both masters). I have ECA done for my Bachelor's Degree (ECA equivalent - Canadian Bachelor's 3 years and MSc - Canadian Master's Equivalent). However i do not have ECA done for MBA as it wouldn't make any difference in points, plus i was doing my thesis of MBA while applying for ECA for MSc and Bachelors. To cut the story short, what would be my academic years? Will it be 18 years or 19 years?

Also i applied for PR back in 2014, but it was rejected the first time because of incompleteness. I gathered the documents and re-applied but it was returned as the quota was full. My money was returned, it didn't go for processing but initial assessment only. Hence i didn't receive UCI number. What should i answer for whether if i applied for PR previously or not? I am confused. Any advice or suggestions would be highly valuable. Thank you.

Hi Seniors,

I have received my ITA, need help with the 2nd part of application. Can you please help with the following 2 questions.
I am applying with my wife and I am the primary applicant.

1. Proof of Funds - I currently have $6000 in my account and the rest is in my wife's account. For the application can I also attach my wife's bank account statement and claim it to be a part of my application. If yes do i need to attach any specific documents, apart from her bank statement. Also for Proof of funds only liquid cash in the account is considered or short and long term fixed deposits can be considered as well.

2. My Wife's work ex - She does not have any Canadian work ex, but while making the EE profile I had mentioned her Indian work ex. As per the CIC website they claim that only primary applicant's work related documents are required. Is it true? Should I move all her work ex to personal history?

Regards,
KC

Hi,

1) You can use funds that are in your spouses account, all she will need to do is sign a notarized affidavit giving her full consent to the use of these funds for immigration purposes.
- Note CIC require a letter from the bank. Bank statements are only needed if you fail to get the letter.
- FD's can also be used as Proof of funds.

2) Yes, its correct. You can move it to personal history and explain why you have done so in your Letter of explanation.

All the best

hi Seniors

you people have helped a lot of people with your in-depth and vast knowledge of then immigration process.

kindly guide me too. It would be a great help to me.

Foreign Work Experience:

I am a Lawyer by profession in India since last 11 years duly registered with the Bar Council of Delhi and the District Courts Bar Associations. I even have a Chamber allotted into my name in a District Court.
I can fetch letters from the Bar councils that I am a Lawyer in Practice.

Problem: My problem is that I don't show my Income from Profession in my Income Tax Returns. I only mention Rental Income in that as this is a common practice (unfortunately) to save Tax here in Delhi India.
DO WE NEED INCOME TAX RETURNS TOO TO SUBSTANTIATE OUR EXPERIENCE
OR
LETTERS FROM BAR COUNCIL OF DELHI AND BAR ASSOCIATIONS OF COURTS BE SUFFICIENT FOR EXPERIENCE.
I can also get letters of reference from Clients including Corporates too.

If this will not be sufficient then kindly suggest any alternative solution to this too please.

Kindly help me out of this Problem.

I will be highly indebted.

No, this is not a problem at all. You just need to state what it is you were doing during that time in your Personal history. Ensure there are no gaps.

All the best

My POF file is coming out to be 5MB, I've tried quite a few online tools to reduce the file size but this is the minimum the file can be compressed  Due to balance statements of 6 months from multiple banks the number of pages have increased.

Do you guys know of a way out?

Hello experts,
I am a student studying in Canada and for proof of funds I have asked my mother and grandmother to give me gift deed. So, will it be fine if I put that into my Indian bank account?
Documents what I am planning to attach
1. Gift deed
2. Affadavit from mother and grandmom
3. My account certificate after amount has been added
4.Copy of cheque used

Do i need to add my mother & grandmother's account statement as well to show that they have not taken any loan and this amount just come out of their FD's.
Also do i need to show networth certificate of mom and dad?
And also do i still need to show my 6 months statement.
Thanks in advance

Dear Seniors need and advice regarding POF
All savings is in accompanied spouse account in Japan.
Japan does not allow having joint account.
Then what is the recommended way to show as POF.

Option 1
Transfer all money to primary applicant.
Attach a bank statement of spouse.
But in Japan we cannot make an affidavit saying will not ask to return money.

Option 2
Keep the money in the spouse account.
And attach a spouse bank statement.
Also mention in LOE, that spouse will be accompained to Canada.

Option 3
Transfer all money to parents in India.
They make a gift deed.

Guys please suggest.

Hi,
Have you tried smallpdf ?

Try compressing it on https://smallpdf.com/ , save the file, then compress it again. should work and give you decent quality.
