You have to be assertive and stick up for yourself. You are the only one who is going to advocate for yourself. Can't rely on a big company to keep track of your personal file. I know they should, but, you're your best advocate.

Hi.. which Number do we call to get through to NNAS? Is it the toll free number for the IENs or the number for the corporate office in toronto?

Customer Service: 1 (855) 977-1898

I found it helped me to have my questions/what I wanted to say written down, so that when I got them on the phone I didn't get all nervous and forget exactly everything I wanted to ask or find out. I function best when I have lists!

I phoned CARNA and said they don't use SEC anymore for Alberta. It's ARNAP now and it cost $1900.
Even if you book before June 2017? Or are there no more test dates before June 2017?
I wonder what they would say if you asked them why it costs $1900 in Alberta when the exact (almost) same exam is $500 in Ontario.

yes. I told them that in their website it will be on June 2017. but the CS says it will still cost $1900. because it's the touchstone institute who charge it.

Wow, exactly as I expected: they pass blame on to Touchstone to absolve themselves of any responsibility. Technically, it is true that Touchstone sets their rates etc. But, it is the licensing body that accepted Touchstone as the ones delivering the exam, and so as far as I am concerned, they are a part of the problem! They should not have accepted a company that charges unnecessary rates! They know that it's only 25% the cost in Ontario...

you applied for RN right?

I only got 32.87% :'(

what did CNO told you when you applied to them? do they still consider the application even it's not comparable?
