I have the same qualification. What is your summary in the WES report.

For me at first it was Degree 4 Years and then i wrote to wes and they changed it to Diploma 2 year and Degree 4 Year.

Hi,

I am filling the express entry form, and need some clarification. My WES reports says - Two Bachelors (4 years). In the express entry form we need to enter details of each education separately. And for education entered, "Level of education" and "Level of education on ECA Report" is required.

- B Tech from India (WES Status - Bachelors)
- PGDM from India (WES Status - Bachelors)

Final Status of WES ECA Report - Two Bachelors

- What is the difference between "Level of education" and "Level of education on ECA Report" ?
- What option needs to be selected for the aforementioned headings ?
- Do I need to select the same option for both the degrees ?

I think that I need to select the same status (for "Level of education on ECA Report") i.e Two or more degrees in both the education. Not sure what to select for "Level of education" ?

It's very confusing. Can anyone share his/her experience ?

by my calculation you HAVE a CLB of 9 already. (L8/R7/W7/S7). If you wanted a few
Extra points for CLB 10, and the cash and energy to do so...you just need to increase W and S to 7.5

Send both Diploma+Bachelors. The fees is the same. Send all the documents under same application.

Anyhave diploma doesn't fetch you any points it is just to show the lateral entry in IInd year to justify bachelors degree.

There is no extra charge for the number of degrees. You can send as many qualifications as you want under one reference number. I sent my Diploma+B.Tech+M.Tech all together and paid only one.

The Diploma board is giving lots of trouble issuing transcripts in the required format (sealed and stamped).

For WES equivalency, do we need to send the transcript of Diploma too? or sending just B.Tech degree and transcripts will be sufficient?

Better to get the transcript of Diploma as well. If the board doesn't want to issue you the transcript in desired format then get the photocopy of marksheets of all the semesters and the photocopy of diploma certificate (Final or Provisional) and request the Registrar or Controller of Examination to sign and stamp (attestation) on them. Pack these signed copies in an A4 size envelope in front of him and seal it. Request him to finally sign and stamp on the flaps of the envelope and you are done.

I did it the same way as I had real hard time dealing with these fat bellied government officials in entire process.

Got My WES report with following summary today:

Diploma ( two years) and bachelor's degree ( four years )

I just sent them Transcripts for Diploma and Bachelor's via institution.

I didn't contacted them again to change summary.

Hi,

i have done 10th then 12th and then diploma and then engineering. For both diploma and engineering, it was lateral entry for me. WES sent me report as Bachelors degree four year in summary and canadian equivalency for diploma as secondary school diploma and diploma 2 years. After that i made a request to them to update summary with both qualifications. So they updated it in two days as Diploma 2 years and Bachelors Degree four years. So now i am able to select two or more options without any hesitation.

Hi,

I'm currently applying ECA for my Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. As a matter of fact, I'm a lateral entry student. My study process was 10th + Diploma in Mechanical Engineering ( 2 years ) + B.E. Mechanical Engineering ( 3 years ). So can I send only the Degree transcript for my ECA or shall I send both? My only concern is to get validation for my Engineering degree, not for the Diploma. Please help me, guys.
