Its the other way around. When I was reapplying for my Canadian visitors visa, I didnt have do redo biometrics. The biometrics that was used, was one given for my PR application 2.5yrs l, ago for my TRV visa
That's correct. IRCC can reuse valid biometrics from a previous application in certain circumstances. However, the requirements may differ depending on the application type. It's always best to follow the biometric instructions issued by IRCC for each application.

Hi guys,

I had my interview last Thursday, and the officer said she believed my relationship was genuine and that I had passed eligibility before even we sat in the interview room. Her main concerns were about my background history, so she asked me a few questions. By the end of the interview, she said she had no further questions or concerns.

She told me I should receive my medical request either that day or within a few weeks. I also asked whether my application could be processed faster, and she said she would do what she could. She mentioned that these were the final steps and that my application should be finalised within a couple of months. She also advised me to complete the medical as soon as I received the instructions.

I haven’t received the medical request yet. Has anyone had a similar experience? How long after your interview did it take to receive yours? and is there still things that will make the process delay after this? is refusal still possible after this if I passed my medical request?

Congratulations on what sounds like a positive interview! although these are promising signs, final approval is not guaranteed until IRCC completes all remaining checks and makes the final decision. Best of luck!

it happens my dependent outside canada got pcc imm5669 req from cpc miss.. and when my application was approved then they transferred dependent application to outside vo and they got medical req from outside vo
Hi there,

Did you submit imm5669 form only of the spouse outside canada or need to include for the one who recently got PR inside canada?

Update:

My spouse outside Canada received biometric letter, PCC request and updated Imm5669e form.

Will there be any issue on her biometric letter as the address mentioned there is Canada address?

When my spouse replying, does she need to include imm5669e form only for herself or need to include mine too?

i do not believe address that matters as long as you(inland applicant) lives in that address.
have your overseas spouse already done the Medical?

I received Medical 2 hors ago. however i have not received Biometric or PCC. they have my valid biometric when i applied for TRV though. could it be possible that they used TRV biometric rather requesting new one?
I think you still need to provide Biometrics. It is difficult to predict what is coming next. It is up to IRCC. let's keep praying and hope for the best. I am grateful that our applications are going towards the positve directions.
