If IRCC were processing everyone’s applications that quickly, we would all be happy! Hopefully, processing times will improve for everyone waiting.I saw a post where the girl applied for protected person pr around March 2026 and got her ecopr oct 19. That’s good one.
Carefully follow the instructions in your P1 email. Overseas dependants generally do not use the PR Confirmation Portal for P1, P2, or eCoPR. Their applications are usually processed through the responsible visa office. Once approved, they may receive a passport request (PPR) for visa issuance and their COPR.update of my timeline, anyone, please advise me. I tried but it says the otp is invalidHi Anyone track PR Application via Client Application Status Tool ? I heard it is real time update than GC Key.
Ya. Seems this tool is not for protected person PR category.I tried but it says the otp is invalid
I believe the Client Application Status (CAS) tool may be available for other PR categories, but it does not appear to work for Protected Persons PR applications. Can anyone with a Protected Person PR application confirm whether they can access CAS?,Hi Anyone track PR Application via Client Application Status Tool ? I heard it is real time update than GC Key.
from 6 to 9 months after submission to get AORApply in July 2026.

Province Ontario still waiting for AOR
Guys, I submitted my PR application in January 2026 and completed my biometrics in September 2026. I’ve now received an unusual request: they are asking for all the phone numbers I used before coming to Canada, all my previous social media accounts, and copies of all the passports—both mine and my family’s—that we have held in the past. Are these standard requests? Has anyone else been asked for this?Realistically, and based on my experience as a 2026 applicant, I applied on January 15 and it took about 2.5 months to receive a temporary XG number.
Based on the discussions from 2025 applicants thread , most people are reporting around 7–8 months to receive the AOR.
Hopefully your application will move to the completeness check stage soon and you’ll receive your AOR. If you still haven’t received your AOR after a couple more weeks, you could consider submitting an IRCC web form to ask for an update on your application.Apply in July 2026.
