Hello Everyone,

I submitted for my Study Permit application on July 23, 2026 from Pakistan, via BorderPass. I also applied for SOWP and study permit for my two kids also. I received an ADR on 18 September 2026, and then submitted the Documents on 24 September. I submitted my deferral to January 2027 intake on October 02. Although my portal says that they have received the required documents but it has been a month now I haven’t heard anything not even the Letter of Instruction for medical. I am the principal applicant and I have already a TRV and been to Canada once, I have a F-1 Visa and a Schengen visa on my passport. What option I should opt now, should I go for the demand letter, is this waiting of three months normal?

This is fairly normal processing time. What information was requested by the ADR. What is your education and work history? How much savings can you show? Are you receiving any funding or a job (like TA) from your school? What degree and school did you apply to in Canada?

ADR was for Child registration certificate for my kids and English Language translation for my original Marriage certificate. My course is Masters In urban and Regional planning from University of Alberta. My fundings are from my Government scholarship where currently I am working and my funds were more than 100,000 CAD. I have 7 years of working experience in Public Administration and it will be my second masters
