PR Visa stamping delay

I submitted my passport for visa stamping on July 17 in kenya, on August 25, I received a request to pay rights for residence fees that I had already paid months before. I subsequently submitted the same proof the same day 25 August. Till date there is no response from IRCC, no visa stamping, no approval on the system. Anyone who has experienced this? And anyone with advise of what to do. Waiting for my family to join me

Try your MP's office - this is an odd and lengthy period.

If the question relates to me, the sponsor, I used SINP, however for my family PR i used family sponsorship outside canada. do you think any of this could have an effect?

wanted to ensure you weren’t a refugee since many post under the family sponsorship category not knowing this is not the same thing. Have you landed in Canada as a PR? If not this isn’t a case of family sponsorship.

i landed and have been in Canada for 3 years now. i did apply for family sponsorship in july 2025, medicals done in december 2025, January 2026 Pre-arrival, July 17, 2026: passport request, July 21, 2026 passport recvd by IRCC, August 25, 2026 request to pay RPRF, Which i had actually paid,20 April 2026. submitted copy of reciept same day through web form(Aug 26, 2026). till date waiting for visa stamping
