, they asked me for military service on 17 june. How about you???

I think on mid june they opend 100 applications and only asked for ridiculous things and thast all, moving to next year, otherwise more than 3 months they asked us and even they didn’t check yet
I am in the same situation as you; I have been waiting since August 1, 2023. They requested a military service document on June 17. My file still hasn't been finalized.

What does it even mean?! After 38 months they are asking for a document that they issued them self? Why are they torturing us is my question

So my MP office just gave me updates on my application. Apparently my application is non routine and they do not know when it will be finalized. The wait is hard, submitted since April 2023. I’m the PA, spouse and dependents are inside Canada. Does anyone know anything about these non routine applications? Share a story pls if you’ve been in this type of situation. They requested additional documents from us in May 2025 and no word since then.

According to their own statistics, they still have room for another 26,000 people.

Everything on our application has been completed except that security screening hasn’t even started. Our lives, our future, and all our plans have basically been put on hold because of this. It honestly feels like no one cares, and it just isn’t fair.

It breaks my heart to think that in a couple of years, other people may get their PR within 13 months, while we have already lost 37–38 months of our lives waiting for this process, and we still have nothing.

14 August PR card received.

I think it’s not really fair when many people from 2023 left why they working on 2025, people it’s less than 13 month.
even same country, same situation.
Almost unbearable situation. I have several acquaintances who have received their PR and they only submitted applications in 2025. How do you explain this injustice?
