even security not started, even they told me they didn't check your documents yet
I am an applicant from August 2023. My military service certificate was requested on July 18, and I submitted it the same day. I still haven’t received any updates.

According to the response from the Deputy, “Security assessments are continuing.”

Has anyone received their PR after submitting their military service certificate?

Is anyone else in the same situation as me?

Yes, I submitted my military exemption documents on Jun 9th and got FD at the end of July

Actually thy change the all system because thy need to stop lawyers or MP to ask and do any action in PR files
Mandamus or complaining now its not worth it

In my case I never been in military I never work in government
Funny thing I never lived in my country
I born I live all my life in Dubai
I never live in my original country

The fact that you haven't lived in the country where you were born might have seemed strange to them. Their way of thinking differs from ours when it comes to matters like security screening; they tend to be a bit suspicious.

I think you were so lucky. Congratulations to you and your family .first june you asked.but after you ,nobody news for us
Thank you, the only thing that comes to my mind which might had some effect was that I also provided a letter of explanation to answer any question they might have, when they ask for documents while we have already told them that we never served in military; shows that they had some concern regarding our past history or gaps like unemployment!
Hopefully you will get your FD one of these days,
It's very difficult to stay patient after 30 plus months of waiting

It looks like things are slowing down these days as they’re reaching their quota for this year. I believe if we don’t get it before december, we’ll probably have to wait until mid-january or february.

Their quotas haven't been filled. I just checked the numbers. For the one-off initiative, they've finalized 20,900 out of 46,000 by the beginning of August. Half of the target for this year is still available.

Also, the annual quota for new refugees and protected persons is 49,300 but they've only allocated 21,800 so far between January and August.

Is there anyone whose 2023 application GCMS notes explicitly state "non-routine"? How can we tell if a case has been marked as "non-routine"?

I believe some 2024–2025 applications that were processed quickly explicitly state "non-complex."
