I received the final decision yesterday, my application approved . Hope you will also get it soon.
Many congratulations! After 41 months, you finally received the good news and approval.
I received portal 1 on August 28, and replied the same date and mentioned the detail for my spouse too and highlighted twice that she is outside Canada. But I haven't received PPR for her yet. When can I expect it ? It will come before portal 2 or after?

They updated the processing time, and for July 2024 applicants, it is still ONE MONTH LEFT, which has been the case for over 6 months now.
I requested GCMS, and after 55 days, nothing!!! When I email to the ATIP thing, it says they will not reply to individual tracking numbers...
I applied for a work permit 6 months ago (more than 75 days over the processing time posted), and all I heard back from the webform is tht we are still processing your file blah blah blah!

Last month, my background check status changed from “In Progress” to “Not Applicable.” I submitted my PR application in August 2023, and according to my GCMS notes, my security screening started in July 2024.
Has anyone experienced the same situation, where the background check changed from “In Progress” to “Not Applicable” via GCKey portal?

I might be wrong but I think that’s good news that your background check is being finalized.
You can call IRCC to ask for latest status or request MP to inquire.
It happened with me also, my security started in April 2024, my background check turned to “ Not Applicable “ in April 2026 and on July 24, it turned back to “ We are processing your background “ and on that day my security check marked as completed as per GCMS notes. So it’s a good sign.
I am also an August 2023 applicant, been in securities since September 2024, and my BGC status also changed to N/A like 5-6 months ago and nothing since. I called IRCC a few weeks ago and was told that my security check was still in progress. I would view this as neutral. One guy on Reddit suggested that it could simply mean that your criminal check has expired and it flips to N/A after. Don't get your hopes up and stay patient.
For me still nothing, I did submit in end of Feb 2023 and lost in the security from Nov 28, 2023. By GCMS notes I can see that my primary office is RROC.
Info from MP is that they still doing my military verification even I dint go to regular army. In two mounts will be three years on SC in Feb next year will be 4 years since I did submit. I lost hope that will be done soon.

RROC handles mostly complex applications. And my security check at the end, they assigned my primary office to RROC. If it changed to RROC in security check then it’s a good sign. Mostly people are commenting that this office is slow but to me it is not bad that much. My file stayed in this office for 5 months and my background marked as completed.
My file was transfer in end of Feb 2026, as per info that I did get from MP. They said that my app was transfer to different office and I suspect from Winnipeg that was before primary office to now RROC. And my MP did told me that military verification take longer from security check.
