Umm MP doesnt do much. I contacted two times. They call IRCC and same info in your GS notes is what they give. Not are allowed to intervene, thats what they told me. I waited almost 3 years so it's unuseful to contacted but anyways, usually they answer quickly, like within one week.
Thank you so much Flowercita. It is been 30 months. My kids keep asking how long it take? Have no answer

So I called IRCC to follow up on my ecopr...right? What a silly thing to do...cause naturally it is useless like many other times called...they said montreal office is doing your ecopr...and you still need to wait...also no you can't make an urgent request unless 60 days has passed....Yeaaaa I know just for then to confirm my address and photo...this is sooooo absurd....unbelievable!!! Anyone here that submitted p2 in Aug 6th and is still waiting? Any thoughts?
One useful piece of information from that call: your eCOPR is being handled by the Montreal office. Montreal can issue the eCOPR before 60 days. That's actually useful because if several August 6 applicants assigned to Montreal are still waiting, it strongly suggests Montreal has a backlog/batch delay, rather than something being wrong with your individual file.

Hey everyone, I just got an update from my MP yesterday.

IRCC flagged my file as "Non-Routine" because their internal notes claim I have a "military background."

The catch? I have NEVER served in the military.

I stated this clearly in my initial application. Even worse, just 1 month ago, IRCC asked me IMM5546, and I uploaded official documentation confirming I have zero military history. Yet, their internal notes from this month still show this fake flag, trapping my file in a security screening black hole. That must be joke.
How did u fix non-routine issue? Although it's non- routine, three years is a very long time.

Me same, i heard after you got PR should take maximum one year for they can get theirs. Sounds a lot of time but could be less.
Did you check the processing times?
For my date , appears 3 month left :/ hopefully

Hi everyone,
I wanted to share an update that my dependent received her eCOPR today, officially completing our PR journey!
Sharing our timeline for anyone experiencing the same gap between family members:
August 8: P2 submitted (photo + address declaration for both)
August 15: Principal Applicant received eCOPR
August 31: Dependent received eCOPR (~2 weeks after PA)
If your dependent is still waiting after the PA already got theirs, don't worry it is completely normal for the landing officer to process them individually with a bit of a delay.

A sincere thank you to everyone on this forum. Even though we’ve never met, the people here felt like family during the toughest waiting periods. Your advice, shared experiences, and support made a world of difference.
Wishing everyone still waiting a speedy approval and eCOPR soon! Hope to reconnect with you all again when it’s time for citizenship applications
