I don’t know but the last GCMS note that I got in may 2026 showed that I don’t have secondary office
secondary office issues p1 call ircc and ask
mine is montreal immigration fd 27aug and p1 today
I called them and they said Montreal office gonna issue the P1 when I asked them when? They said there is no specific time.
Yes we both got P2 at the same time; filled out our portal together (even her declaration,photo and address was submitted earlier than mine) I got my eCOPR on August 15, but still nothing for her
Guessing the only way they can control landings is by wasting time on generating a paper which won't take more than few seconds
You are the entitled to get the PR first. Next not necessary be your dependents.
You are lucky if they get it close to the time you get it but remid, only after you get PR, IRCC start with their files. At least they are in Canada with you. Imagine this, overseas dependents, takes months to get an IRCC communication.
You are lucky, think about it.

And I know how it feels for those who are far from family
My dependent was originally overseas till she moved here few months ago
It's very hard and I'm sure no one can understand; but us!

Hopefully. Takes months and still no news. Just be here, all together is a blessing. Enjoy it because not all are with the family.
Umm MP doesnt do much. I contacted two times. They call IRCC and same info in your GS notes is what they give. Not are allowed to intervene, thats what they told me. I waited almost 3 years so it's unuseful to contacted but anyways, usually they answer quickly, like within one week.
