Thank you. I had also linked mine to gckey. Received ecopr on 6th August but no information yet about my PR card.

Yes I had uploaded P2, I already have my ecopr and I have linked my PR card application to gckey.

The IRCC processing time still shows a month remaining, so it doesn’t matter. I followed up with my MP, and he received the same response. It’s still within the timeframe! 37 months and counting

*Contact your MP again for a status inquiry.
*Mention that the current processing time is around 13 months, while your application has been pending for 37 months, and explain any unusual circumstances.

All the normal escalation steps have already been followed, repeated IRCC calls, webforms, and three MP follow-ups, then the next serious step to discuss with an immigration lawyer is Federal Court mandamus. First get the lawyer to review your GCMS notes + complete timeline + IRCC/MP correspondence and answer one question. “Based on the actual history of your file, the delay meets the Federal Court test for mandamus?”

I am January 2024 applicant
I applied on January 4, 2024, and I got ghost update today in GCKEY
I just ended up with IRCC, and they told me all the assessments have been passed, even the security, but the criminality is still in progress. This is so weird because I know that security is the last assessment to complete, usually.
Is this is normal?

So before two days of the final decision they told you everything has been passed except criminality ?
Because that’s what they told me.
What about the ghost update? When did you get it?

Consult with a lawyer...write a demand letter...if necessary proceed withwrit of mandamus..

My friends, may I ask if anyone was recently asked to submit their military documents/exemption? If so, could you please tell me the date you were asked?

I just want to compare and see if anyone who was asked after me has already received a final decision.

I was asked for my military exemption document on June 17.

• Biometrics: December 22, 2023
• Eligibility & Pre-Arrival: October 13 & 15, 2024
• Final Decision: July 20, 2026
• P1: July 21, 2026
• P2: July 28, 2026
• eCOPR: July 30, 2026
• PR Card received by mail: August 21, 2026

It was a long journey, but I’m so grateful and relieved to finally have my PR card in hand. Wish you all the best.

Because that’s what they told me.
What about the ghost update? When did you get it?

I am also from 2023 August and last update they said criminality in progress but security not started. How come they gave you decion in few days if I am still waiting so long.
