Hello,

So when I listed my vacations for PR card renewal, I did not list the day I left Canada and the day I returned. I instead only listed the days after the day I left till the day before I returned. For example, if I departed from Canada on June 2nd 2025 and returned on June 21st 2025, I list June 3rd to June 20th on the application. I did this because I read that the days you leave and return on are counted as days in Canada, so I should be as accurate as possible. Now I saw another video in which the person says to list the days you left and returned as well, they just wont be counted. Do I need to submit a form to amend these dates or is it okay? Regardless of how I list them, I am well over the 2 years required presence (Total will be about 60-70 days outside Canada depending on how its counted).

Thanks!

You need to enter the actual days you entered and left Canada. What you did credited you for 2 additional days for each trip. Yes, you need to amend this.

Hopefully, you can just send a webform to correct this.

Yeah, I sent a webform with the correct dates and an explanation as to why I wrote it so. I was so far above the required days that I thought a 1-2 day gap would be okay, but I didn't want to take any chances. I realized another mistake with the dates and corrected that as well with another webform >.>
