2023 PR Applications Timeline (Protected Persons & Refugees)

Guys, I want to share something with you.
I'm an August 2024 applicant. In June 2026, IRCC requested my police certificates, which I submitted within a week. Shortly after, I received the automated email confirming they had received my documents through the webform.
Then, in July 2026, I received a reminder email with an attached letter saying they had requested documents from me and had extended my deadline. I called IRCC, and the agent confirmed that my documents had already been received.
Recently, I contacted my MP's office, and they reached out to IRCC on my behalf. Surprisingly, IRCC told them that they were still waiting for documents from me—documents that I had already submitted and that an IRCC agent had previously confirmed were received.
What an absolute mess. The lack of communication within IRCC is unbelievable.

It depends from individual to individual applications usually between 24 hrs to a few days or few weeks, every application has different timeliness but you're almost there if you've got eCopr , patience will get you there eventually.
