Guys, I want to share something with you.
I'm an August 2024 applicant. In June 2026, IRCC requested my police certificates, which I submitted within a week. Shortly after, I received the automated email confirming they had received my documents through the webform.
Then, in July 2026, I received a reminder email with an attached letter saying they had requested documents from me and had extended my deadline. I called IRCC, and the agent confirmed that my documents had already been received.
Recently, I contacted my MP's office, and they reached out to IRCC on my behalf. Surprisingly, IRCC told them that they were still waiting for documents from me—documents that I had already submitted and that an IRCC agent had previously confirmed were received.
What an absolute mess. The lack of communication within IRCC is unbelievable.

Hi, i received my pre arrival and eligibility in Oct 2025.
Today i recieved this “Your application for permanent residence is now ready for finalization pending the
confirmation of your permanent residence status. You’ll complete this process through
the Permanent Residence Portal (PR Confirmation)”
They asked me to submit bunch of information for me and my dependant like Uci number, name on passport and basic info.
Is this the final decision? After this what is the next thing that i will recieve?
I'm a February 2024 Applicant. Received pre-arrival and eligibility. Since then no update at all.
Recently, got married outside of Canada. I updated accordingly, sent required forms as per request of the agent. She is no-accompanying in the application. Still do you think that will delay my application? I'm literally tired of it, it's over 29 months!
