Hi everyone, I have a slightly complicated situation and would love some advice if anyone has been through this.

My Background:
I am the Principal Applicant (Protected Person) inside Canada.
I just received my Final Decision and my P1 email!

My Dependent's Situation:
She was originally outside Canada (passed medicals, sent docs, got pre-arrival letters).
She moved to Canada last year and is currently living here with me on an Open Work Permit.
We updated the overseas visa office with her Canadian address and OWP status. They replied saying they can't finalize her file until I (the PA) get my PR.

My Questions:
When I reply to the P1 email, should I include her details in the template along with mine?

Since she is physically inside Canada now, will her finalization automatically be processed inland via the PR Portal (e-COPR) instead of the overseas visa office issuing a PR visa?

Any advice on exactly how to reply to the P1 email in this scenario would be hugely appreciated!

you should call ircc and ask file status of your dependent application if every steps are completed of your dependent they u can add her name

No she had her visa before I applied for protection

after how many months you got the ecopr/pr here in Canada? after their biometrics how long it took for medical?

Till now didn't receive ecopr/pr

Is it possible to link pr applications for abroad dependent on gckey?

For those of you guys who have dependants outside Canada, did you guys received Eligibility Letter or Pre-Arrival Letter for your family before receiving P1 ?

I already received my final decision, I'm inside Canada (Principal Applicant) but no P1 or P2 yet. I have dependants outside Canada but the Eligibility is still in progress. Is my dependants assessment causing my CoPR being delayed ?

Will IRCC issue my CoPR even my dependants hasn't passed eligibility yet ? Thank you.

no we cannot link our dependent outside canada application to gckey,the only way to know thier status is to call ircc
