2024 PR Application timeline

One of my friends submitted their PR application in July 2025 and received their eCOPR today at 8:30 a.m.
I am really happy for them, but at the same time, it feels unfair.
Do you think there might be a problem with the January applicants? Is it possible that something went wrong with our applications? I'm feeling really anxious, and I've been having nightmares every night.

Oh wao that’s super fast
What province is your friend in
From what i read on here , anyone with military background security takes longer
Also a lot are stuck on background check as IRCC uses external partners to run checks , until they hear back you will just wait wait wait

،I don't have military service, I don't have dependent, I don't have travel history.

Because I didn't see any person without military service and dependent and no travel history have such situation all of them receive pr fast

I don’t think your application has a problem
If there was anything they needed, they should have reached out to you
Officer either has high work load or just has not looked at it
Just so you know
Some 2023 applicant are still waiting
Just depends on the person in processing
Doesnot matter if you have a dependent or not
I have a dependent applied in August 2024 ? I have my pr and even depending abroad received COPR already
It’s more about who is handling your file than the complexity of the file
Put it in prayers bro
