Hello,
I have a question regarding the Physical Presence Calculator.
I have a visitor visa that was valid from 2014 to 2024, and I visited Canada for 35 days in 2015. However, I did not visit Canada during my 5-year eligibility period before applying for citizenship, even though my visitor visa remained valid during part of that period.
Could you please clarify how I should answer the following question?
"During your 5-year eligibility period, did you have a valid temporary resident status before becoming a permanent resident?"
Should I answer Yes or No in my situation?
My question is whether having a valid visitor visa during the eligibility period, even without entering Canada, counts as having valid temporary resident status.
Thank you for your guidance.
