If you don't mind sharing, which country do you live in and which visa office (LVO) is handling your case? Also, did they ever send you any additional document requests (ADR) or ask for a medical re-exam along the way, or has it been total radio silence this whole time?
Accra Ghana is my visa office. And it has been total silence no ADR or remedical. Just silence
Ah, Accra LVO explained it. That office is well-known for being incredibly slow and having massive backlogs. The fact that you have no ADRs or re-medicals means your file is simply waiting its turn for the local background/eligibility checks to be finalized.
My background stayed not applicable for 22 months and then just changed to in progress in febuary and has been like that since then. Same with eligibility they both went in progress together on gckey before the tracker went down. So I’m just hoping and praying because the visa office is nothing to write home about
