Hello everyone,

I received an Express Entry ITA with a CRS score of 490 (draw cutoff 475). At the time of receiving my ITA, my husband was declared non-accompanying.

I am still within my 60-day submission period (52 days left). I now want to change him to accompanying.

He has not taken IELTS yet, but plans to take it before I submit my eAPR. Based on my calculation, my recalculated CRS would be 477, which is still above the draw cutoff.

Has anyone successfully changed a previously non-accompanying spouse to accompanying after ITA and used the spouse's IELTS taken after the ITA? Did IRCC accept it?

The little bit of information you left out was , why all of sudden is he now accompanying ?

Sounds like you purposefully left him out because you thought by having him your score would be below the cutoff point . Then when you got invited you decided to now put him as accompanying

You seriously don’t think the IRCC will see how you’re attempting to manipulate things ?
If you do get to Canada , this is a high trust country ,don’t try this fuckery when or if you get here
This just adds to why some Canadians opinions on immigration is in the toilet
