I finally received my P1 today. For everyone who is still waiting for theirs, I wish you all the absolute best and the quickest results.

I know that each and every one of you has something beautiful to fight for, and I am so proud of you. Some of you haven’t seen your families for years… some are longing to see their mothers, wives, or children.

Stay strong and stay brave—we are doing this for our loved ones, and it will all be worth it.

Your good news is coming soon.
May God be with you all!

What great news, congratulations! During this whole process, I’ve honestly been looking at your timelines to mentally compare them with mine. Hopefully, I get some news soon too.

Guys, does anyone gone through this process?

How do I request the return of my passport from IRCC after getting eCOPR?
(the passport that IRCC took when I submitted my refugee claim)

Is this a joke? You applied for asylum because you claimed protection from your country of nationality. Generally, refugee claimants surrender their passport, and obtaining or using that passport - or travelling back to the country you claimed protection from - can raise serious concerns and, in some cases, put your permanent resident status at risk. Be very careful and seek proper legal advice before taking any action. My advice for you now, wait until you gain Canadian citizenship.
