Just resharing my parents' timeline
Applied for PR on Jan 28, 2025
AOR & Temporary AOR and fingerprints requests for overseas dependents received in July 2025 Since then silence—no update.

Tried everything sent in Webforms and still not able to link the application at all.

What about background check? Started?

An acquaintance of mine is in a similar situation. He applied around the end of June 2025 and received a letter in September 2025 confirming receipt of the application along with a temporary application number. He is still waiting for the AOR. Although he only had a temporary number, his lawyer was able to link the application in GCKey.

Just an update: received a letter from IRCC through the portal requesting to submit updated application documents, including:

• Updated IMM 0008
• IMM 5669 (Schedule A)
• IMM 5406 (Additional Family Information)
• IMM 5562 (Travel History)
• Detailed CV/Resume
(just for clarity, all these documents were submitted back in June 2025)

Interestingly, no AOR has been received as yet, but this letter contains a permanent application number.

I have same but I think if he was soldier than he need resume. Read carefully

The requirement for a CV/resume is separate from the military-service requirement.

The letter states that if you complete IMM 5669 (Schedule A), you must also provide a CV/resume containing your employment and education history since age 18, with no gaps in time.

Hey Guys! My dad received an email from IRCC about submitting the documents if not included in the original submission or anyupdates to the information that wasn't provided previously. Does that mean that if my dad had provided alrdy, doesn't need to do anything right? This is the first email after long wait !

Got the same email today not sure what to do cus i already submitted everything on the checklist with my initial application.you think we need to call Ircc to get more information?

Today, I got the police certificate history information, CV, etc. documents.

I asked the lawyer, he says they are doing their best to prolong the process because I gave all the documents let's see what else we will see

The level if inconsistency with Ircc is alarming i got this but had already received the AOR two months ago.Dont know if i can just submit what i submitted with the initial application.

I have an issue, I applied for or in June and nothing then I get this in my email, I don’t know if they want me to submit all the document listed on this or just the police certificate check marked because if it’s all the forms, it’s like submitting all the pr forms all over again and I got it in an email and not in my portal which is more confusing
