Do you know if someone came to your local address in India to verify something or they just cleared police verification without it?

I gave my relatives phone number in my application. Police called them and visited them in person and completed the verification.

That was pretty fast for them to come the very next day. My timeline is similar to yours. Police came to my parents’ home on 12mar. The status online still shows police verification awaited. I’d applied at BLS Mississauga on 4Feb.
