Guys…where do you see your portal 1 and portal 2 mail…is it your email, IRCC Gc key account or the IRCC website in which I submitted my permanent residence application
Portal 1 – You will receive an email and need to reply to the same email, confirming your details such as UCI, height, eye colour, address, and your current presence inside or outside Canada etc

Portal 2 – You will receive an email with the PR Portal link. If you do not have an existing account, you will need to create one using a temporary password

If you already have a PR Portal account (for example, if you submitted your PR application through it), simply log in using your username and password. You will find your case initiated—open the case, confirm your presence in Canada and address, and upload your photos. That’s it

I have a question for this. In processing times appears for me 4 months left (for August 2023) , If I have a planned trip on July, what will happen if I received that email when Im outside. I will be out for 15 days. Im wondering about. Dos anybody knows what to do in that situtation?

I am not an immigration consultant or lawyer, but as far as I know, you can reply to Portal 1 and declare that you are currently outside Canada. IRCC will usually hold your process until you return to Canada. Once you are back, you can inform them through the same email or by submitting a webform. After that, they will send Portal 2, which requires the applicant to be physically present in Canada.

Portal 1 usually asks you to reply within 7 business days, and Portal 2 normally gives you 7 days to complete the required steps and submit your photo and address

Ok. Thanks for sharing. It is ok, I know here we are not consultant but what I need is somebody to share experience or at least to have an idea. Thanks for your comment. I ve been waiting for long, lets see if the decision arrives when out of Canada :/

what medical request if you dont mind me asking? is it medical exam
Yes medical exam. At first it was waived according to GCMS notes (people who applied before may/june 2023 had exemption/ IRCC was using the previous medical exam and passing it based on that) mine was passed but expired on GCMS notes. They requested medical exam in January 2026 and my file moved from there.

That portal is only for send the application. Never use it again. You need a IRCC Secure Account, can login using your GC Key and link your file.
About the portal I heard it is by email, not in the portal But as I still not receive it, I cant confirm about it.
Portal 1 is when you receive email from IRCC to confirm your details such as UCI/name/DOB/email/ if you’re within canada. Using the email you provide they will create a portal (not if you already have one linked to that email, they will ask you to login with same credentials)
Postal 2 is when you login your PR portal once requested by IRCC and submit your photo/address and declaration that you’re within canada.
Declaration is used for COPR.
Photo and address is used for PR card delivery.
COPR is also downloaded from that portal once its ready.
