Hello.Has anyone received an (AOR) application under the protected refugee pathway this year? I submitted my application in October 2025 and have not received an AOR yet, and I would like to know the month in which applications are currently being processed.Thanks

What i see from another posts and comments it take about 6-7 month for AOR.check your spam or junk email and try to call them to check status just incase there was system glitch and they missed sent to you the file.good luck
Yes. I called last week they said it’s waiting for completeness check. Once done they said I will get permanent AOR
Just wait couple of days and call them back.i know it's frustrating to wait 6 month to get just AOR while another PR stream such as cec and express entry they get PR card by 6 months.also its more pain because we wait 2 years to get RPD decision
It’s a completed different type of immigration that was also an option to you if you had chosen to pursue economic immigration versus claiming asylum. You can’t compare both. Claiming asylum or being a refugee has no language test, income/savings requirement, work experience required, education points, etc. Also economic applicants don’t have access to the same support programs as economic immigrants.
There is no point calling again since it won’t change the speed that you get AOR and the timeline is in line with other applicants. It is essentially a waiting game at this point AOR should be received soon. As long as your timeline is similar to others all you can really do is wait. The asylum/refugee pathway is one long queue after another at the point.
