Only upload mandatory declaration but yes.. keep your submission copy handy incase BLS may ask to upload. You can always upload document during submission if asked.

I will be sending all docs via courier so is it better to send and upload form 7 as well ? Also, my wife didn't have a ration card so just mandatory declaration is enough ??

been 10 days now

  (To track the postal delivery, BLS added a comment in their tracker containing the tracking ID, although it was not explicitly labeled as such.)

Documents Uploaded:
Canadian Passport, Citizenship Certificate, Cancelled Indian Passport, Surrender Certificate, COPR, Employment Letter, Marriage Certificate, Name Change Certificate with Affidavit(if applicable), Self-Declaration, Spouse’s Passport, Driving Licence. ( self attested photocopies of all these documents were sent in postal mail)

Additional Notes:

• Form 7 was not uploaded, and no additional documents were requested.
• During the process, I managed to cancel my voter ID by requesting a relative residing in the same assembly constituency to do so.
• If you have any doubts during the process, consider calling BLS or referring to YouTube videos for clarification on specific steps.

Hello Everyone,

I am debating between walk in vs sending my documents in courier to BLS brampton . Please help in below questions

1. If I send my documents in courier or walk in - do i have to give any original documents ?
2. Is BLS asking for form 7 cancelled voterID or just mandatory declaration is okay ?
3. Do i have to upload form 7 voterID cancellation ?
4. Can someone let me know exact charges payable to BLS brampton if sending application via courier ? OCI fee + bls service charge + courier fee ( thru demand draft )

I would say call BLS and they will give most appropriate information. It’s always advisable to check with them as their lines are recorded and you can always raise dispute in case you get wrong information.

I am following your timelines.. did u check on BLS tracker.. as per previous timelines you should have your status updated by now.. I m also worried now as my travel is planned for mid Jan. Let’s just hope we get in time.

For Toronto it is. I am not sure about Vancouver. Everyone have there own unique rules.
