congratulations. looks like Toronto is going fast and good where is alberta is going slow

I'm from AB and got scheduled to take the oath in early January. Hard to agree with a blanket statement saying some areas see quicker grants being given than others, as files are reviewed and scrutinized on a case by case basis.

Had my oath ceremony yesterday virtually, haven't received any link to download my certificate, will keep you folks updated.

It depends.. sometimes in 1-2 weeks or may be months. You can email them that you want to change it to in-person. This is written in the oath invite email

No email yet, so I don't know if it's an in person or virtual ceremony. We'd prefer an in person one. Anybody any experience with changing a virtual one into an in person one? How much extra time gets added? I read 1 to 4 months on average, but does anybody have any recent experience with this? We'd be in Ottawa. Thanks.

This is the biggest concern. BG is the most important check. And since ours is still pending at this stage is a bit scary.

Mine took about a week in between LPP clearing and the invitation being sent to me via email.

Got an email from IRCC to reply in email to send passport pages and flight ticket invoice..sent flight ticket copy and passport pages and got LPP updated to completed..again I saw the same email from IRCC and then saw Physical presence in progress.. isn't it weird..Flight ticket should be good enough for that..why they are very specific to invoice? Anyone else is having this request?
