What are the experiences of those who recently received their Final Decision? Are you receiving an email about the Final Decision? Are you viewing it through GcKey?

You are not receiving any emails for the final decision. You can only see it in the GC Key like below:

Hi, I'd like to share our application timeline and ask one question. My husband is a protected person and I'm not. He included me in his PR application as a dependent at submission. I have been inside Canada throughout the entire process.

My husband received the P2 email last week but was only able to sign in the portal today due to a password issue. When he accessed the portal, there was no option for my confirmation (dependent), only his. Has anyone experienced this? Should I wait a bit longer, or should we contact IRCC?

Timeline:
2023.04.06 submission
2024.07 eligibility letter (main applicant)
2025.05 they requested documents for me (dependent). We had already submitted them with the initial application, but we sent additional docs and updates
2025.11.21 P1 email (replied with details for both main applicant and dependent)
2025.11.26 P2 email
2025.12.01 uploaded photo and confirmed address in the portal (main applicant only)

Finally received my PR card.

Submitted my application on Feb 2023 and received the PR Card on Nov 18, 2025.

Good luck to everyone who still waiting for their application to be processed.

any march,april,may applicant whoose security not started?

I applied in June 2023; security hasn't started yet, and background processing is still in progress. All other details completed. Why security has not started yet

After final decision:

From 1 day up to 2 weeks: You will receive P1 email. You should reply back with some data.

Then from 1 day up to 1 werk: p2 email . You get an account on the PR portal. You fill and add the photo (s).

Then eCORP from 1 week up to 3-4 weeks.

So best case scenario is 10 days and longest would be around 7-8 weeks to get the eCORP given you have the Final decision.

I think you meant that you applied on April 2023 not the AoR: acknowledge of receipt.
