hello folks,

ircc is contacting to me on different ways from starting of my application.
for example AOR and biometric info by email
pre arrival letter by gckey account
eligibility letter by regular post.

Do I need to do anything about this? Should I request that all correspondence be sent via email via webform?
They already have my current email address.

My lawyer told me eligibility letter is a formality. It Means nothing and you dont have to answer. Many times they dont send that letter because specially for us, refugees, already here in Canada, it is just a pointless step.

actually i mean that should i ask from them sending via email for future correspondences?
They are contacting by mixed ways. It seems like it would be cleaner if they sent everything via email.

By the way, at what stages do they generally send us correspondence? By what method do they send it, and what is our response method if its necessary?

When you applied you choose the way to keep correspondence. If you have ircc account, it's normal they only use that channel. Unless you stats something different.

i dont remember anything about this matter. i applied on pr portal website and there wasnt any questions about correspondence way

They asked about it. You can always change . Send the webform.

Thats the idea but I guess will start from the oldest. It's the logic. But probably they will have some requirements to fulfill.

Honestly I dont know but for sure must be security passed. They won't give PR for persons who could be a security risk.
