I am hoping to apply for parents. They currently live and work in the gulf and both will retire soon and go back to home country.
my question is they dont have a owned house neither do they rent. they sold them home for financial reasons.
so now they are in the gulf but soon when they leave they will go back to stay with relatives until we can get them on a super visa (as parent sponsorship is not happening).
i am really confused how to make a strong case for them that they will return back to the home country
ideally i want them to stay with me or my brother (we are both in ontario, canada, well settled etc. and can both take care of them).
do we do a joint application inviting them by both of us or from one of us. i am currenyl not working but my husband is.
my brother n his wife r working and better financial situation than us.

is proof of address a real reason of importance and lack of whcih can cause rejection?

also - they give supervisa and you can stay for 5 years after which how long do you leave the country before you are eligible to return?

please help with as much info. i appreciate it. thanks.

They should reestablish their ties to their home country before applying for a supervisa. There will be concerns they are attempting to move to Canada if they have no ties to their home country. You also need to be making plans for them to return to live in their home country longterm since a supervisa allows them to visit for up to 5 years if they can obtain and pay for supervisa insurance. If they get sick they may no longer qualify for supervisa insurance and even if they can obtain it may no longer cover any new preexisting condition. It is only emergency travel insurance. If they have an extended visit to Canada they should spend quite a long time in their home country before attempting to visit again. A supervisa does not allow you to move to Canada and the chance of getting selected for PGP is extremely low in general but especially within a 5-6 year period.
