I understand, but why ? Is there any guarantee that the prioritized group will outperform the non-priority group in practice, especially starting from scratch?
Do you know what our real problem is? We don’t have a voice that truly represents us. We’ve never learned how to make our voice loud enough to be heard.

Just look at what the provinces achieve through the PNP. When the federal government sharply cut overall PNP admissions in 2025, provinces like Alberta, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland & Labrador organized, built coalitions, and advocated forcefully for their interests. Alberta, for instance, demonstrated the economic need for immigrants and presented data to back their request; after months of lobbying, their PNP quota was raised by more than 1,500 spots mid-year—despite national-level cuts. Their leaders met directly with federal officials, coordinated with business groups, and leveraged the media to apply pressure until Ottawa relented.
But it is not a verifiable through any official source.There is no official information from IRCC or any reliable news outlet to support this claim. It seems to be a rumour.
A panic state among us as a SUV applicants is understandable as many of us have already invested substantial time and money into it.
No, it is not. Is the only thing we can do for now though, be patient.Today, I don’t give a sht if they cancel or suspend my application, I just want to get a least my application fee back. As you said, I invested a lot of money and is the only thing I care about most now. With all this changes and things happening In Canada, I don’t think is the best option anymore. There are more reliable and serious countries out there, anyways. Hopefully they announce at least they can give us that money back and I’ll be more than happy. I’m sick of this c&nts.
