Hi
I want to apply for my parents’ citizenship but I am confused about the process. It says if its online application, then they need to complete it by themselves and Representative (myself) can only help with questions etc. my parents are not tech savvy and not good in English.
In that case, if i want to apply for them, do i have to do it on paper?

Also, am I able to help them with oath ceremony (virtual/in person) when it comes to that? They are 60+

Yes, it seems so. You need to apply on paper as per the information in the website. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...ces/canadian-citizenship/adult-minor/how.html
and you might request for Oath accomdation.
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...ome-canadian-citizen/apply/accommodation.html

If you need an accommodation for the oath, contact us and include

How to contact us

Option 1 (recommended): Wait for and reply to your ceremony invitation

Reply to the email address that sent you the ceremony invitation.

  • To find out when you’ll get your invitation, check your application status regularly.
  • If the “Citizenship ceremony” section of the citizenship tracker has an “In progress” status, it means you’ll get your invitation soon.

Option 2: Send us a web form

You can also request a ceremony accommodation by sending us a web form.

Do you know which office handle with your application? Thank you.
