In my openion its just IA generated data based on application remain to process not the actual one

Of course AI generated but data generated is dependent on volume of applicants and current PR quota allocation so should give a realistic approximation especially for the next 5 years if not 10. I can’t imagine Canada increasing the PR quota dramatically anytime soon which would have the biggest impact on processing speed. At least much better than people expecting processing in 2 years and constantly increasing processing times while also exceeding them.

Normal. Processing times are getting longer because there is a huge volume of people applying for a small PR quota.

No way what's going on????

CHECK THE IRCC PROCESSING TIME JUST UPDATED YESTERDAY. WHAT THE .....
99 MONTHS OF WAITING FOR PROTECTED PERSON OUTSIDE QUEBEC???

TELL ME IT'S AN ERROR.

MY GOOD

WE ARE ALL DOOMED.
Where did you.check? I tried checking amd there was not an option for Permanent Resident.... what did you enter?

Not an error. If you have been monitoring the data there is a huge backlog of protected people and refugees and a yearly PR quota that is much smaller. Glad IRCC now has realistic processing times which I have been telling people are going to continue to get much longer.
Please can someone tell me the total number of backlog they are having now and averagely how many application they can process within a year, with my forecast, the backlog should be more than 5million to be process for 8years.

The processing tool can give you all the backlog data. I can find it if absolutely necessary when I have some time. The yearly PR quota for protected people, refugees and their dependents in Canada applying is only 20k/yr this yr and 18k/yr for the following yrs (could change but not by much). The processing times posted by IRCC make sense. Canada should stop accepting anymore refugees from abroad or reduce the number dramatically until we deal with some of the backlogs in Canada.

Just received eligibility letter march 2024 applicant.
Please can you help to understand the process so far? My application was submitted in march and received letter of receipt then asked for biometric that was already done. Now, I want to understand the next steps involved if you kindly list down the next steps including the acknowledgment letter and after that. It will be huge help. Not timeline but just the process steps involved.

When we filled up the online application form for PR Protected person, are you normally declare all of your family members including parents and siblings? Or just spouse as accompanying outside Canada?
