Hi everyone,
Has anyone here applied for a US visitor visa while being a protected person in Canada (not a PR yet), but with a refugee travel document, work permit, and NOD?
* Was it approved easily or was it complicated?
* At the airport, did US immigration ask you a lot of questions or extra documents?
For context: I entered the US before on a visitor visa, stayed 5 days with my brother (he has a green card), and then crossed back at the legal Canadian land border in Alberta and applied for asylum.
Do you think it’s better to apply for the US visa now, or wait until I get Canadian PR (which can take 2+ years for refugees)?
Thanks in advance for any advice or experiences!
