You can link your PR card application in GCKey. Just search for an application with UCI and other details. You will see update when there is FD and approval. When approved, it will say “we mailed your PR card….”

Hello,

Anyone else had their application transferred from Mississauga to Etobicoke processing office? My husband’s application was transferred early December 2024 and we haven’t heard anything since then. We are stuck at eligibility + background check. We requested GCMS notes in August and haven’t received anything. We are feeling a little hopeless as the processing time keeps changing. We are wondering if withdrawing our inland application, leaving the country and reapplying from outland would be detrimental? Any insights would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance

I think getting your GCMS note will be the first thing to do as it will give you an insights on the thinking of your case officer and process. Armed with this information, you will know what’s your next best move. Hurrying to leave the country, knowing your husband is out of status, may mean your he never gains entry to Canada. I’m not sure that’s a chance you want to take.

Unable to do it. My application states approved and everything shows completed.

Do you have access to your GCkey? If you do, the date in the final decision section is what we refer to final decision. Don’t be bothered about the time difference between P1 and P2- if it takes a long time, then the time between your P2 and ecopr will be short. I’m sure you’ll soon get it!
