LANDED..........
Sep 2013
Hi there. Are Spousal Sponsored PR applicants facing any delays in recieving their PR cards after landing in Canada?

By delay, i mean its been 7 months since landing and no PR card in the mail. We have sent couple of faxes and mails to IRCC but have had no response so far. Not sure if its Canada Post issue - but there seems to be no way to get in touch or learn if the PR card was ever sent by IRCC.
Developing concern is that COPR validity was 1 yr and in couple of months COPR will be expired.

Is anyone else going through this situation or knows who/how to approach it?

Since you say you have LANDED, that would mean you are a PR...just haven't received your card. Is that correct?

It was not a Canada Post issue...but it is now.

Call IRCC and hope you reach a human; a human that can give you answers.
You could also submit a web form: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/contact-ircc/web-form.html

Hi Ponga,

Thanks for some insight. We have filled and sent that form now. But even before that, we have sent Imm5457 couple of times to PR Card Processing Center, and got no response. COPR was signed by the immigration officer and also the applicant was asked to sign, at the time of landing and the officer said we will get it in mail in 60-90 days max. That was back in March this year. Its 6 months now.
Very much concerned as the COPR expiry date is getting near - is the applicant supposed to stay in Canada - or leave before the date?
