If i have a represntative then XG number will be recieved by the representative or they will send it to me ?You don’t need to call IRCC or contact anyone for your application number. First, they will send you a temporary application number (starting with "XG", like XG1234567890). After a few days, they will send you your permanent application number, which is the same as the XG number but without the "X"—for example, G1234567890.
You can only link your PR application to your GCKey account once you receive the permanent application number (the one starting with "G").
Until you link your application to GCKey, you won’t be able to check your status online.
If you applied for PR through a lawyer, the lawyer will receive the application number by email. You need to ask them for the number and let them know that you plan to link the application to your own GCKey account.
Which of the country's police clearance certificate they would ask? Your home country or the other country you lived for more than six months. They don’t ask for a police clearance from everyone. It’s only required for those who have lived in a country other than their habitual residence for more than six months. If you have lived in a foreign country, you should submit the police clearance with your PR application to avoid delays.
Thanks for your response, you're actually right, I just noticed they have changed my application number from XG to G in thr biometrics request they sent in June, but I have been trying to link it since then and it's not working. Also Is it Okay to submit my home country's PPC and the PCC of country i lived over 6 month now, or should i wait till they requestthey will ask for PCC of the countries you lived for more than six months for sure and its better you include your home country's PCC to avoid application delay just incase they ask.
Check your email you may have received your Permanent Application Number(G #). try linking your application on GC key.
Honestly speaking, that was exactly what I did, I downloaded the application, everything I put was correct, yet it's not linking... I've tried all the available options, no wayyou should be able to link your application if you enter all the information correctly. if you are unsure about some information, you can download your submitted application and check the information you trying to enter to link your application.
its totally up to you whether you want to submit PCC now or until they request. but there is no harm submitting now.
Call IRCC they’ll guide you on the correct details needed to link. That was how I linked mine after months of trials.Honestly speaking, that was exactly what I did, I downloaded the application, everything I put was correct, yet it's not linking... I've tried all the available options, no way
I called them today, the lady tried assisting me online but it showed same result, so she asked me to raise a web form with a screenshot, which I do tonight.. fingers crossedCall IRCC they’ll guide you on the correct details needed to link. That was how I linked mine after months of trials.
when did you apply?Hi everyone I have a update. I got AOR now.(mississauga)
First week of Julywhen did you apply?
You are right bro. Actually Canada dont give permission for focus that. I have full time job and part time job because I have family here. But when I see good news about other people im happyWould really encourage people to monitor their file but not focus on it too much for their mental health. Processing times are going to be very long and there will be long periods of time (years) where there may be no movement. There is an extremely large backlog so work on establishing your life in Canada, get a hobby, meet new people, focus on your career, etc. and doing things that bring you happiness. Nothing you can do will speed up processing so probably best not to focus on it too much

No problem for me. I got my RTD, I live with my family and kids in Canada. I can visit all countries without my country. If I went to back home they will put me prison.IRCC has posted more realistic processing times that are more in line with what I have been saying.

These are not real processing times (AI estimates) to discourage people from applying for refugee and H and C programs.IRCC has posted more realistic processing times that are more in line with what I have been saying.
